This page last updated Thursday, April 3, 2003.
I started this site on October 17, 1999, and haven't figured out the html yet, but at least I'm working on it! Check back later, and see if anything interesting happens.

What you can expect to find here:
-
Humor, but not necessarily YOUR kind of humor.
Art that captivates the imagination, or at least isn't copyrighted.
And SPAM®, but not the really good stuff out of the can.
Anything else that shows up is pure gravy.

A Tribute to
Mothers
Everywhere

On the left, two of the most important women on this page: my Mom, aka Aunt Joyce or
AJ (to her friends
on the Mowire),
and her niece Glenda, who loves hugs,
fishing and her own culinary creations.
The image was part of
a Mother's Day 1999
email to them both. They're still mothers in
2000 and beyond!

This is how Aunt Joyce (or "Mom" as I like to call her), world-renowned potter and international traveler, looks when visiting an Israeli soldier friend, over there in Israel, showing off her New York Yankees bias, and passing the collection hat to raise money for baseball equipment and uniforms for the poor kids in the kibbutz. She obviously didn't know this photo was being taken by a Jordanian spy camera, or she wouldn't have removed government protected rocks and dirt from Israeli soil.
You can visit my Mom's homepage by clicking HERE.
She likes to call it lachenalia 's Home Page, just to confuse you.

A Famous American Comic Rock Icon name of Frank Zappa (who was also
a great musician trained in classical music and is now, sadly, deceased,
and who named his kids, unfortunately, Dweezil and Moon Unit) once sang, "Whatcha need is Motherly Love", and he wasn't just whistlin' Dixie!
So, in additional Tribute to Mothers Everywhere, I have added the YellsAtDog Mother's Day Card 1997 to page 3 of this site. Just CLICK HERE to see it.

If you like fishin', here's somethin' else you might like:

The only reason for living in North Carolina
(aside from dodging hurricanes) is to fish the
Outer Banks. If you missed OBX II, Outer
Banks Gathering 1999 or "The Great Muck",
you can relive it vicariously by visiting the
MoWire message board, where OBX
denizens hang out and discuss fishing.
Hosted by Mo, fishing entrepreneur and
icon of OBX fishing, it's THE place to be!

And if you'd like to see some Great Pix of the Mo'sters in action at The Great Muck, plus other Mo'ster fishin' pix, try this link (thanks to AJ for many hours
of work putting them up, and the various Mo'sters who contributed their pix):

Here's another famous Mo'ster, who needs no introduction, seen here enjoying typical OBX breakfast fare: Carolina
cold drumfish/cheese soup. Only the bestfor our Mo'sters, with aged Wisconsin cheese, and
locally acquired fresh red drumfish. This recipe uses no artificial SPAM®.

Table setting by Lenox China
Regency Collection®. Breakfast
attire by OBX Fisheries Apparel
Division. "We cater to the well
dressed fisherman and his wife."

And for the very best in Outer Banks
fishing, be sure to visit FishMojo.com.
YellsAtDog News has moved to page 2.
If you're a Yankees fan, don't miss it.

You can also see my favorite poem there, Jabberwocky.

The saddest event, and greatest triumph, in all human history:

Search the Bible in nine languages and multiple versions, or just read it online, at the Bible Gateway.

I hope you've enjoyed what you've seen here so far.
Come on back when you're good 'n ready. And don't forget to bring the SPAM®.
I'll be hangin' around here waitin' for ya.
There's more stuff ahead. Follow the links below.
