A book just for Rupert Grint made by his fans. This book will contain contributions from his fans, hopefully from all over the world. We hope to get a lot of participation, but whatever is received will be sent whatever the case.
It will be called RUPERT'S
BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE 2004!
We are also planning to send along a list of 100 QUESTIONS that he will hopefully agree to answer as well as a BAG O' SWEETS/STUFF that will be filled with sweets and small gifts. Please read through the page to learn more about the project.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Now that the concept has been explained, you're probably wondering how you can participate:
YOU HAVE 2 OPTIONS FOR MAKING SUBMISSIONS : BY EMAIL OR BY SNAIL MAIL
The following are accepted by EMAIL and are just a few ideas to get you started:
Please include your name (first name okay), age, and location and a little blurb about yourself with your entry. Let him get to know his fans!
EMAIL your contributions to yes_virginia2@yahoo.com with “RBT 2004 PROJECT” in the subject line.
Don't forget, you may do your entry by hand, scan it and email it in! (Yes, I know it seems obvious, but, trust us, some people won't have realized it.)This means you can send in (scanned) hand drawn cards, art, autographed picture of yourself, etc. The sky's the limit.
Also if there is no way you can send your entry by email OR you'd like to send a card or small gift, email at yes_virginia2@yahoo.com for my SNAIL MAIL address with "SNAIL MAIL ADDRESS REQUEST" as the subject line.
If you are sending something by SNAIL MAIL, the following are also accepted:
*Note: No pages should be larger than standard size page with at least a 1 inch/2.5cm margin
These are just ideas to get you started. Should you choose to send something by mail, particularly is you do not live in FRANCE, please think ahead so that your submissions will arrive on time. If you have something you are unsure about please email me at yes_virginia2@yahoo.com with “QUESTION SNAIL MAIL” in the subject line.
We're planning to include a page with a list of all the fans who contributed somewhere in the book.
The design of the book itself will be revealed after we are sure it has been received lest Rupert find this page while surfing. ;)
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY JULY 1!
(please, no fan fiction will be accepted! Also, no "Marry me, Rupert!" messages)
Also, we'd like to send a list of 100 or so questions that hopefully he will answer so please send those separately. Please don't ask him questions like, "Do you have a girlfriend?", etc. Please send these to yes_virginia2@yahoo.com with “100 QUESTIONS” in the subject line.
Those who contribute to this will also be listed on a separate page included in the bag. We would like to label each bag with who it's from, your location, and your address (should you chose to include it). If you cannot come up with a label yourself, please let us know your information and we will made one for you. (If you chose to send in a 'donation' to contribute to the Bag O' Sweets, please include the information that you would like on the label, if you decide not to make one yourself. Also, please tell us what sort of candy you would like to send him. :) )
If you would like to contribute to help pay for printer ink, the cost of supplies for making the book, postage, Bag O' Sweets, etc. Please email me at yes_virginia2@yahoo.com with “DONATIONS” in the subject line as it would be more than welcome. You will, of course, be given credit for your donation (amount will not be listed) somewhere in the book.
Also, if you have scrapbook supplies, such as stickers, card stock, paper, glue, etc., to help with the making those are happily accepted as well.
If you are good with graphics and would like to design something for the book, please don't hesitate to contact us. If your work is used, you will, of course, be given credit. Send email to yes_virginia2@yahoo.com with “GRAPHICS” in the subject line.
