Parish Priest
The Rev. George Berberian has been serving the Armenian Catholic community
in Melbourne since January 2000. He was born in Aleppo, Syria and was
educated at St Gregory's Armenian Catholic School in Aleppo. From 1990-1996
he studied Philosophy and Theology at Universita Gregoriana in Rome. He
was the first Armenian Catholic priest to be ordained
in Australia in 1998. The ordaining Prelate was His Beatitude Jean Pierre
XVIII Kasparian.
