Below is a very rare picture outside the famous Glasgow Apollo, which closed in 1985. The poster outsie the main door is promoting the 1981 Rick Wakeman show. The crowd outside is not waiting for tickets for this show - no-one lined up for Rick Wakeman tickets in 1981 - they are wating for tickets for Adam & The Ants. Anyway I had my ticket for Rick Wakeman as can be seen. Also seen in the picture is "Mr Chips", which always did a roaring trade on concert nights, however "King Burger" at the other side of The Apollo was much better!
