The YFC Teen Parents ministry connects caring adults with pregnant girls and teenage parents in programs designed to help them make good choices and establish a solid foundation, not only in their lives, but also in the lives of their babies. Teen Parents seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as life-long followers of Jesus Christ.
The Jackson Teen Moms program develops relationships with pregnant and parenting teens by providing weekly group meetings and one-on-one followup as needed.
The Teen Moms staff networks with other community resources to provide for the needs of the teens. The basic goals for the teens affected by pregnancy are:
1. To not have a repeat pregnancy
2. To complete their education
3. To be taught parenting and life skills |
