Geocities is a free server so their you must follow their rules fully. To help you we have compiled a list of requirements.
1. You must provied a link to Geocities.com on each and every page.
2. You must not place pornographic material on your site.
3. Excessive adult language or adult language in totality in the EnchantedForest neighborhood is prohibited.
4. Use of your web site as a "Hate Site" is prohibited. (Ex. Anti-AOL, dude@something.end is dumb E-Mail and tell him so, or Kill Bill Gates)
5. Use of your web site for "Spam Mail" is prohibited.
6. You may have more that one free account as long as they are NOT in the same neighborhood, or about the same subject.
7. You must provide an advertisement on all your pages. This can be using the GeoGuide. If you do not wish to put a Geoguide on your page an Ad Box or "Pop Up Box" will be placed on your site for you. You may not include anything in your site that would disrupt any of these 3 items.
8. You may not place an advertisement other than a Geoguide, (a) Pages That Pay ad(s), or a Link Exchange Banner. All other advertisements and banner exchanges not suported by GeoCities are prohibited. You may however link to anothers website in return of nothing or a link to your site on theirs.
9. You may not place Copyrighted files on your site without the owners permission.
10. You may not sell anything on a non GeoShops web site.
11. You may not use your site as a storage site of files for other pages in other servers or homesteads.
12. If you have a site in the EnchatedForest neighborhood you must have a page suitable for all possible viewers.
13. You must not impersonate any one from Yahoo! or Geocities.
14. You may not put any harmful software on your site.
15. You may not try to interfere with the Geocities server other than normal use of your site.
16. You may not preform or post any thing illegal on your site.
