| 1. Getting Commonly Missed Characters for FREE DUEL | |

| Run away from him, then immediately return to the Palace and he'll challenge you to a DUEL... defeat him to add him to your FREE DUEL list and then you are allow to go out again. | |
| Villager #3 (Old Man) | |
| When you are in the DUELING GROUND, DUEL everyone before exiting. You need to DUEL him on the first time you went in to the DUELING GROUND or he won't accept your challenge anymore. | |
| Seto #2 | |

You can challenge Seto #2 after you've defeated 2 of the Higher Mages. Just go back to the HIDDEN DUELING GROUND and Jono will bring you to the Shrine to rescue Teena... Go RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT and you'll meet Seto #2. Defeat him to add him to your FREE DUEL list. You won't be able to add him to the list if you meet him after defeating ALL MAGES. |

| 2. Getting POW Ranking | |
| - | Defeat your opponent as fast as possible. |
| - | Use minimum Trap Cards. |
| - | Use minimum Magic Cards. |
| The fastest you defeat your
opponent with less use of Magic/Trap card (s), the higher POW ranking
you'll get. Defeating your opponent within 7 rounds without using any
Magic/Trap Card give you a S-POW. Number of rounds and number of cards
left also play an important role getting POW ranking.
Getting high POW ranking give you a better chance to win rare Monster Cards. |

| 3. Getting TEC Ranking | |
| - | Make your opponent run out of card. |
| - | Defeat your opponent with the least possible card left in their deck. |
| - | Using Magic/Trap Cards help getting you higher TEC ranking. |
| The lesser cards left in
your opponent's deck gives you a higher TEC ranking. Making your
opponent run out of card before you will give you a S-TEC. Defeating you
opponent when he/she has only 1 card left and you've got 0 might give
you an S-TEC also.
Getting high TEC ranking will give you a better chance to win rare Magic/Trap Cards. |

| 4. Who Can I Get Good MAGIC/TRAP Cards From | |
| - | Megamorph, White Castle, Dragon Treasure, Widespread Ruin, Sword of Reveiling Light, Raigeki, Dragon Capture Jar, Acid Trap Hole from Pegasus, Isis, Shadi and Mai. Villager #1 and Teena also gives decent MAGIC cards. |

| - | Meteor Black Dragon, Skull Knight, Dark Magician, Gaia the Fierce Knight, Curse of Dragon, Meteor Dragon, Firewing Pegasus from Meadow Mage |
| - | Red-eyes Black Dragon from Jono #2 |
| 6. Easy POW Wins Against Lower Mages | |
| I'd observed a common playing pattern of the lower mages... they will play the field change Magic card when you play your 1st Monster card FACED DOWN. The following strategy works very well if you can fuse some THTD... and garranty 80% S-POW :) | |
| i) | Play a Monster card FACED-DOWN. |
| ii) | Lower Mage would most probably change the field. |
| iii) | Play you THTD fusion. |
| iv) | Lower Mage will take more than 4000 damage (2800 + ?). |
| v) | If he didn't play Millennium Shield or Labyrinth Wall, he is DONE! |
