Did you know there is a "Good Dreamer's Guide"? This describes the position you should be lying in as you fall asleep, which way the bed should point , techniques to use if you want to wake up at a particular time, and how to conquer insomnia ... THE IDEAL POSITION for a good sleep is lying on your right-hand side; as early as ancient Greek and Roman times, this has been the accepted wisdom. Sleeping in this position allows you to make use of the positive aspect of the magnetism you posses. THE BED should be facing in a north south direction so that your body can make maximum use of the lines of magnetism running from the north pole to the south pole. Many doctors recommend this position, as well as suggesting that you get rid of any surplus static electricity before going to bed by running cold water over your hands for a few moments. WAKING UP AT A SPECIFIC TIME is accomplished by visualizing the time you want to get up. This is best done by imagining a huge alarm clock, with very large, clear numbers, and with the hands pointing to the desired time. If you do this at least three times before you go to bed, the result are almost always successful.
CURING INSOMNIA, provided it is not caused by a medical condition, can
often be done using a simple breathing exercise which takes only two or
three minutes. This consists of breathing in very deeply through you nose,
and expelling the air slowly through your mouth so that your lungs are
as well ventilated as possible. This calms the mind and is particularly
worth trying a few times if you wake up in the middle of the night and
cannot get back to sleep.
