承接2001年百老匯電影中心(bc)主辦的「南韓電影新勢力」，2003年bc繼續刮起韓風，舉辦這個為期兩周的「韓國電影節」，選映19個韓片節目，其中包括16齣從未在港公映作品，以及一個動畫一個短片節目。影展中的作品大多全程走勻海外影展，贏得不少獎項，今年還特設最受觀眾歡迎大獎，齊齊投下心水選擇！其中不少作品更不會在港再次放映，要睇好戲就趁手！

點睛推介：

<醉畫仙> — 康城影展最佳導演（林權澤）得獎作品；

<復仇> — <JSA安全地帶>導演最新作品，<茅躉王>宋康昊主演，人性本是暴力；

<七十好年華> —韓國最受爭議作品，七旬老人重燃愛火的動人之作；

<情約笨豬跳> — 愛能超越生死，至死不渝原來是這樣，走寶自誤；

<爛泥情人> — <漂流慾室>導演新作，再次挑戰閣下對慾望的禁忌；

<24歲的迷戀> — 青春的惘然，成長的迷思，找緊所愛才是最後出路。

It is the first time ever, the biggest ever – a Korean Film Festival dedicating to the Korean cinema in HK! Showcasing 30 latest titles from Korea, this fortnight programme highlights the energy and diversity of the national cinema that has already rocketed out of Asia, advancing into the international film arena! The film list includes the Cannes award-winning CHIHWASEON and other 15 features films that have never been shown before, as well as 2 short film programmes including one on animation. Most of them are internationally acclaimed works and may not be commercially released in the future. So, don’t miss the chance!

CHIHWASEON - winner of Best Director at Cannes Film Festival 2002;

SYMPATHY FOR MR. VENGEANCE - latest film from the director of JSA, starring THE FOUL KING Song Kang-ho;

TOO YOUNG TO DIE - the most controversial work from Korea, revealing the undying love and passions among a 70's year old couple;

BAD GUY - disturbing and touching at the same time, THE ISLE director is trying to challenge your perception about sexuality, power and relationship;
