Bob Lark serves as the Chair of Jazz Studies at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois where he teaches jazz trumpet, a course in jazz pedagogy, and directs the university's jazz ensembles. Under Lark's direction, the DePaul jazz program has been the winner of many international awards.
Ronald Carter wears the hats of educator, conductor, performer, and clinician and is the Head of Jazz Studies at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. Along with directing benchmark high school music programs, he has been sought after as a conductor, clinician, and performer.
Larry Coryell is not only a legend in the world of jazz guitar, he has attained legendary status in the world of jazz in general. He has performed with almost every major jazz great during his career and has pushed the musical envelope with his unique style.
Mark Colby is on the music faculty of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, and is not only a featured soloist on many recordings, he has recorded and/or performed with many great jazz artists including Jaco Pastorious, Gerry Mulligan, Charlie Haden, Maynard Fergusun, Frank Sinatra, and Ramsey Lewis.
Rob Parton holds the title of Associate Professor of Jazz Studies at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, and is also the leader of the internationally acclaimed Rob Parton Jazztech Big Band.
Paul Wertico is currently a Percussion Lecturer at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and has legnthy list of performance credits. Along with performing with numerous Chicago jazz ensembles, he is a long-standing member of The Pat Metheny Group.
Antonio Garcia is an Associate Professor of Music at Northwestern University in Evanston, where he directs the school's jazz combos, teaches jazz and integrated arts curricula, is Jazz Coordinator for the National High School Music Institute, and for four years directed the school's vocal jazz ensemble.
