Toastmasters Youth Leadership Camp (YLC) is a program that provides training for communication and leadership skills development, hands-on activities, educational workshops, games and outdoor activities for students. This program is offered to students from colleges and secondary schools from Sarawak as a weekend after-school activity.

Through this fun and exciting program, the participants will learn about Toastmasters International's proven and effective communication and leadership skills.

Swan City Toastmasters Club is organising the YLC with the primary objectives of providing an opportunity for the students to:

1.    Enhance their communication and leadership skills and;
2.    Interact and learn from their fellow students and participants;
3.    To live life to the fullest.

This year's YLC will be held at YMCA Camp Resort, Sibu, from 14th to 16 th of March 2009. The theme for this year's camp is "Courage to Conquer".

YLC 2009 is now over and we hope you had an enjoyable and memorable stay at the camp.

We would like to thank all the students for taking part in this event. A million thanks to all the facilitators, volunteers, teachers, sponsors and helpers, without whom this camp would not be possible.

We hope you had fun and learned just as much as we do. We thank you for the memories, the cheers and the laughter. Remember, within each of us lies a seed of success.
