ABOUT ME

HI! My name's Yani and I live in the Philippines. I still learning on how to create a website, so don't expect much from me... ^^)

I just finished my thesis and I finally graduated (...WHEW!!...). I took up communication research (something to do with mass communication or media) in the Univesity of the Philippines. My thesis is about online newspapers, its a comparison between the foreign and local online newspapers. I love to watch almost all types of movies, except horror films. They give me nightmares. I do watch them sometimes but usually in broad daylight, and definitely not before I go to sleep. I also love watching animated films, like cartoons and anime. I know I'm too old but who cares...(he he he he!!!).....Right now, I'm into anime and one of my favorite is Gensomaden Saiyuki, I also love the Gaiden. I just love the monk Genjo Sanzo. I even created a site all about him, check it out...

I'm not into telenovelas or soap opera much which you can practically watch from morning 'til evening here in the Philippines. It is quite a craze in our country, from Mexican to Asian to local telenovelas, you can watch them in most of our local channels......I'm glad there's such thing as cable......The only telenovela that I had really watched and religiously followed was Carita de Angel. It is a Mexican telenovela and it is funny, not the usual drama or tear-jerker ones. I even created a site that I haven't updated for quite some time now, but I will.....eventually, check it out.
