| Thane Road avalanche area. There was an avalanche recently and as you can see it comes down quite a ways. This one went over the road. Usually they will try to shoot it down from Douglas with a cannon to have controlled avalanches. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and we end up with this! hehehe |

| Our fair city of Juneau from afar. Juneau is built along the base of several mountains. This picture is of downtown Juneau take from Gastineau Channel. Takes a while for the snow to melt from the mountain tops, and will be here for a while unless it gets much warmer sooner! (fingers crossed) |

| Sunsets here are breathtaking and I enjoy them most out on the water. Tonight we saw a pod or porpoise feeding. Was an amazing sight, but they didn't get close enough to get a good shot. Well I wasn't quick enough, actually.... did I need to write that? LOL |
