| 04/11/02 Jade is doing well in 1st Grade. She is reading now and called me at work today to inform me she can spell 57 words! She was so excited she used some of her recess time to call me! The pic above is Jade's birthday sign her classmates made for her. She was very proud and her classmates said nice things about her. |

| October 2002. Jade is adjusting to Anchorage. She loves the 5th Avenue mall. Our first trip there I don't think that her feet stopped tapping in joy! She was pretty much tap dancing through entire mall! |
