This page shows who does what where on the site and when they started, and hopefully all will continue to make this one of the best mostly review oriented metal websites on the net. The site was originally created in the late spring of 1997, has grown enormously since, thanks to help of the following people who have contributed their writing talents to the website. Rainbowflame's Metal Domain specializes in long, detailed reviews of heavy metal albums from both the past and the present, and has had several feature and novelty pages that have made the site somewhat unique.
Alanna Evans - email - creator and designer of Rainbowflame's
Metal Domain, and the one who's writing this now. Not only does she design and
maintain the site but also writes reviews and does interviews. Main musical staples
are AOR/melodic rock, power, progressive metal, and a smidgen of glam. She's
currently in the northeast with her guinea pig trying to ward off the cold.
Ilya Ulberg - email - was the first reviewer here and has
been doing reviews since the end of 1998, writing them up for mostly
epic/haunting/inspiring/symphonic/rap stuff. In other words, metal
releases that are actually good (nay for rap) and the opposite of what he actually
listens to (like Radiohead). He loves Iron Maiden "Brave New World".
It's his fav album ever. Seriously.
Joseph White - email - reviews mostly progressive metal with some
cheese glam metal thrown in for good measure, and recently has started doing
interviews. Joseph is pretty picky on what he'll listen to or review.
Has contributed many good reviews mostly in the prog genre.
Andy Craven - email - the webmaster for the UK James Byrd fansite, started submitting reviews in
late 1999, with his first submission documented as being the review for Rainbow "Live in Germany
1976", and since then has been a huge contributer, with a wide variety of
reviews and more recently even interviews.
Torgeir Krokfjord - email - the newest contributer to the site, Torgeir has done a variety of
reviews and done material for our 80s weekends.
Don't hestitate to contact us for comments, suggestions or just
idle chat.
There has also been a couple of guest reviewers to submit single reviews to the website,
including Pig In Zen & PJ. And we thank them for adding to the numbers.
Current as of March 07th, 2001.
