Ynysforgan and Ynystawe

Ynysforgan and Ynystawe are two adjoining villages located in Swansea, South Wales. The villages are situated between junction 45 of the M4 Motorway and the village of Clydach to the north.

The two villages boast a number of features. These being Ynystawe Park, The Millers Arms, The Ynysforgan Roundabout, Ynysforgan Woods and the River Tawe which flows through both villages.

Ynystawe takes it name from two Welsh words, 'Ynys' which translates as 'island' and 'Tawe', the river which runs through it.
