October 15, 2004: Yeah, so I have been neglecting my site-ownership duties. I guess that's what happens when you have a life!! Now, what to chat about? All the interesting stuff that i would like to talk about is too personal and private to talk about!! Aren't secrets terrible? I had to work today..and i have to put away dishes, but we can't put them away until they're fully dry, so you must wait forever until they dry, and there's always a build-up of dishes.  We have decided that we need an automatic dish-dryer that's built into the dishwasher. So ya wanna know one of the major dilemmas i've been fighting with? I love the movie Fight Club, and i think the whole fuck greedy, money-cented society thing, but it's so hard to actually follow, because in order to live, you need a job! That brings up another dilemma that has been dwelling in my heart: I have this strong urge to rebel and just to get out in the world, have fun, and live without caring about school or worrying about anything! It's hard for me to persue this urge because i think all of my friends aren't as willing to do this. I want to move out of Hutchinson and meet a bunch of interesting people! I feel like i'm so tied down here...there's so much more in the world that i could be experienceing if i had different circumstances. There is one person that may bring me some of these oppurtunities, but that person doesn't live near me yet. I can't wait!! I have all of these hopes for after graduation... My mind is like speghetti right now. It's tasty, but it's just a bunch of tied up noodles. Life gets really confusing sometimes. But, i love it nonetheless!!

November 29,2003: Yo yo yo. I haven't updated in just about near forever. 2 days from now is the start of the 2nd trimester for school. I have the first half of History, Biology, Art, Spanish II, and Keyboarding. Exciting huh? I thought so. Anyway, that's enough about school. Today we filmed a movie based upon Bohemian Rhapsody. It was great, and Vanessa is a phenomeonal scriptwriter/director. Basically, my boyfriend cheated on me with my sister, I murder somebody, and then I get put into a mental institution because I start to go crazy. I receive "visitors", which some are real, but others my insanity are just creating. Everybody abandons me, except for my boyfriend and my other friend that has had a crush on me forever. My boyfriend, it turns out is truly backstabbing me, and ditches me as well, and by that time i deny my friend after he confesses his secret crush on me. So, I'm all alone, going insane. Vanessa is working on editing it, and I trust that it will turn out great. I have thirst.

July 12, 2003 If you have not noticed yet, I only work on my site every other weekends, when I'm at my Dad's...they have a much faster pc than my mom...in fact it doesn't even work at my Mom's. lol. My dad and my stepmom took me to Khan's Mongolian Barbeque. It was so tastey!! Over the 4th of July weekend, my mom and I went down to SE Minnesota to visit the nice caves and the amish folk down there. It was loads o' fun. There are 2 caves down there, Niagra Cave and Mystery Cave. Mystery Cave was better to me because the tour gave much more geological information than the other, and it also had more interesting rock formations. I LOVE ROCK FORMATIONS! whoa, sorry about that! We also took an Amish tour of their little shops and things. If you ever need nice baskets, furniture, or baked goods, go to the Amish!!! It was so cool to see them. I sort of felt like I was intruding though because most of them won't start up a conversation unless you start it. But being down there made me decide I want to become Amish for a year, but I realized that wasn't possible, so I'm just going to become a good friend. We went tubing as well. One more week until we leave for the Boundary Waters!! Yipee! I still need to gather my stuff... Clara's back from Canada. She passed SARS on to me yesterday. Uh oh!! I saw Pirates of the Caribbean on Wednesday. It was a very well done pirate movie! I won't spoil anything for those of you who have not seen it (and you must!). But I advise you, Beware of the Orlando Lovers!!! Who are they anyway??? jeez, Johnny Depp is better anyway. Oh and I have post-poned my palm-burning until after the trip to BWCA. It would be rather miserable if my palm of my hand was burnt. Those of you who didn't know-I am curious to see what it is like to sunburn your palm, so I am going to try it since you never hear of people getting sunburns on their palms...what about the bottom of the foot?? hmm...I may have to try that one too.

June 27, 2003 These dots may be kind of hard to read over...oh well! Clara's in Nova Scotia right now. It's funny because she had to stop in Toronto to get there...and as of now, Toronto is still on the SARS list, so I have decided that Clara has SARS. (I'll feel really bad if she really did get SARS, which I doubt she will.) Not only that, but as everybody knows, she loves storms and tornados. And it just so happens that when she goes on vacation, a town only 15 minutes from our town gets blown apart by a tornado! Poor Clara. That night was rather exciting though, after it hit that town, the same cell was headed directly towards us, but when it came right close to us, it decided to go straigh north! Lucky, but a bummer too. umm....i got new chap stick :)...not that you care, but if you're bored enough to read this, you're probably still continueing on to read! I tend to buy chap stick on a keychain, otherwise I'll have it for a day, and I'll ask my mom, "where did my Chap Stick go?" and she gets quite flustered. So, I buy my own now. Last weekend, my mom and I spontaneously went to Valley Fair...crazy huh? it was after 5, so we got a major discount. That same day, Teresa went to the Minnesota Zoo to see The Matrix: Reloaded in the IMax theater. She was stoked! Most likely, she could've fit her whole body up Trinity's nose...lol...I bet she'd like that...hehe I have to help out with the orientation for the new Candy Stripers tomorrow at 8:30, so I'm going to bathe soon. Oh...there's supposedly a BOY joining Candy Striping....ooooo...he'll feel awkward around all girls...haha....hopefully he'll hold up well, i guess he knows a few of the members so that's good. oh and it's Ian's 18th birthday tomorrow, so he's moving out soon to Mankato...*wipes tears* haha he'll still be around though.

June 14, 2003: This is my new news page (did I just say new twice??) oh well... I thought it would be nice to keep everybody up-to-date with the life of Nikki. Well...It was my birthday on the 11th...I got loads of cool stuff (ok maybe not loads). Alex got me Sea Monkeys!!! They're cool! And they ARE NOT brine shrimp!! Umm...I got a Mr. Rogers t-shirt from my mother that says"be kind, please" and SB sandals...A Hamtaro DVD from my sis and a SB pillow dressed like Mermaid Man from my bro. I also got the new Marilyn Manson cd, The Golden Age of Grotesque, and a Ramones t-shirt from my papa. Oh speaking of presents...I got a Tuxedo shirt from my aunt's attic...it's cool. a total of 3 birthday cakes Clara invited me to Valley Fair with the Marching Band on my birthday..It was a blast. I won a Sea Monkey (really a Lobster) with special help from the worker carnie-dude that sung happy birthday to me. I am going to be in Marching Band next year on the flute...Clara is going to give me private lessons...I'm excited :o). My cousin Nissa is hopefully coming down here the week of August 7th. It just so happens that that's the day Science Olypiad is going to Valley Fair. [To Nissa: I'll contact you later to give you the details] We are planning on having a tea party while she's here, and I'll show here around our "big" town...although Rothsay is much smaller (no offense Nissa).
