Terran: vs. zerg: This matchup should be a little easier in the beginning because of the fact that marines or firbats will roast lings so fast sometimes they don't even get touched. The bad thing is, that fast ling rush before you are set up. It's important to make some marines right when your barracks are finnished. Those first marines you make can really save you. Some people make a bunker right after the first barracks is done. witch is good. Cause if you have 1 or 2 marines, 6 lings will tear them up. Once you get past that you should find and attack ASAP. Cause in the begining zerg can be very vulnerable. A zerg player with no sunken in his base is a dead player if you find him. If he has sunken well you can still cause some damage especially if the sunken are to far up. You can stand behind his main hatchery and have target practice on his drones and lings. Another good way to take out zerg if they have good sunken D is. Try to build up close to him with marines and tanks. tanks to take out the sunken and marines with medics for his lings. You might want to send an scv with your first tank to repair it and make some turrets around your units incase he gets some lurkers. keep building up your units where you stand, and your base. If you keep a zerg player confined he is no threat to you at all. If somehow he runs you out of his base make sure you always have a little back up for your base and turrets in front. A marine-tank punch can be very affective early in the game. even against hydras. Learn to go all around though and you will be tough to beat against zerg. Tanks rule ground, goliaths and wraiths will tear up guardians and devour if used together with irradation. Nukes and battlecruisers will add to your power behind tanks. Another good thing to do if he doesn't have his main hatchery protected from air attacks. Try to get your vessele to his main and hit his drones with irradation. 1 shot kills them all hehe. |
