Interested in becoming a yoga teacher? The YSRF offers free, self-paced and intensive teacher training programs. Parts 1&2 of our teacher training program are now offered contiously, locally. For non-local aspirants, we are scheduling visits for winter 2000 and spring 2001. Please contact us to come to your area, for teacher training workshops. Part 1 trainees are required to learn 5 carefully designed, time tested, asana exercise routines consisting of over 100 different movements, which are things that most people can do. However, more advanced practioners may be challanged! Kinds of yoga, anatomy, and physiology, and physic physiology will be introduced. You will learn deep relaxation techniques and pranayama breathing exercises. Booklets, videos, and training sessions are available to help trainees learn the routines. Parts 2&3 are in depth study and include over 3 years of teaching, asanas, pranayams, shatkarmas, mudra, bandha, karma yoga, and more. Upon completion of the parts of the program, trainees recieve certificates from the YSRF. |
