Pain in the hip/lower back? Sciatica driving you to drugs? Sure maybe it's a breakdown like a herniated disc. Go to your doctor and check it out. Once you are sure that your discs are in order, how is your piriformus? Ask your doctor to show you or look it up online. Piriformus is the muscle buried under your buttock or gluts that helps you turn your leg out. When it's irritated it presses down on the sciatic nerve and that can make you very uncomfortable, enough so that you fear getting up and going anywhere even though sitting in a chair is the worst thing you can do, may even have been part of the cause of the problem. Notice how hard it is getting up! |
