| We took the first ferry from La Ceiba to Utila on the 13th July, and upon arriving dumped our bags at Captain Morgan's, (one of the many dive shops), and went for a wonder around the bay looking for accomodation and a dive school. We soon found the Bay Islands College Of Diving and a great instructor called Francisco so settled for that place. We then shifted our bags to the Bayview Hotel slightly further past the dive school on the water, and spent the rest of the afternoon and evening watching the Advanced Open Water videos and working on exam sheets in order to be ready for the 6.45am start the next day! The next 5 days were spent here diving, looking round the island on hired bikes, and chilling out in some great dock bars! |
