THE POWER OF JUDGEMENT

It was our early years in Sahaj when I used to check my vibrations often out of curiosity. Once we were on holiday trip to our native district in Tanjre dt., in Tamil Nadu, India. There we went to a big archeological site with a huge temple known for its antiquity, sculpture and art of Chola dynasty. As we were entering our attention thro vibration was drawn to a newly excavated site where a beautiful idol of Bhavani was kept in a lonely corner., The entire crowd was going towards the main temple where similar Goddess was kept for worshipping in typical South Indian style. There was so much of attention by everyone in that temple, hardly anyone noticed about this almost discarded beautifully sculptured Bhavani lying uncared for. This one drew our attention and our vibrations being strong went near to it and lighted a small lamp near by and was in total meditation forgetting ourselves totally.

At this point suddenly an old priest came that way and inquisitively asked us how do you know this one is so powerful? I am a "devi upasakar" and I come here to light up this lamp and Pray. Even without querying him, he continued saying that this one was originally designed by the Chola Emperor and daily pujas etc was done and in those days considered as a powerful Goddess. After several yrs suddenly after the demise of the emperor, one sudden sand storm with heavy lash of rain and a minor quake or so the temple went underground and the new temple as established, on which you find the crowds go. Recently this vigraha (Bhavani) was excavated and no one knows it worth and power. The priest or the stranger later disappeared in the crowd!

We stood silent on meditation for some more time enjoying the good cool vibrations all over and left the place reluctantly. The name of the place is 'Daraswaram' on southern railway, 4 or 5 miles from a town called Kumbakonam, in Tanjore Dt., Tamil Nadu, INDIA.
