Remnants of My Presentation

Well, did it go as well as I wanted?

On Thursday, 18th November 2004 I finished my presentation.
At last!
I am now free from the burden of a presentation!

My presentation was about Dan Brown and his works.
I had finished writing it the day before because I was too lazy, and did not write it before.
I also had a terrible cold that day I wrote my presentation, and I think I didn't put enough effort into it.
Also, on the day of the presentation I just did not feel like talking.
Fortunately, I forced myself into talking and eventually finished reading the script I wrote.
A fierce(?) discussion followed afterwards.
I thank those who lead the discussion and left me alone to rest in peace.
A million thanks to Ji-won, Stephanie, Pureun, Sung-min.
Well, all in all I am glad that all this presentation buisness is over.

Overall Synopsis of My Presentation

Introduction

In my introduction I talked about Dan Brown's life and I also briefly introduced his works.

Body

In the main part of my presentation, I talked about
1. Two specific novels: Angels and Demons, and The Da Vinci Code
2. The conflict of The Da Vinci Code and Christian society

Conclusion

To conclude, I finished off with the suggestion that The Da Vinci Code was not a book to be considered seriously, but just to be enjoyed, referring to Mortimer Adler's essay "How to Mark a Book".
