On February 2, 1984, in Atlanta, GA, I was brought into this world by God to the best parents, Mr. Eugene and Kim Rankins. After I was born, my mother and father moved my older sister and me to Detroit, MI, where we began attending the Spiritual Israel Church and Its Army (SICIA). By 4 years of age, I participated in the the youth choir and on the youth usher board. At the age of 15, I began working with the YOP (Youth Outreach Program), and I really enjoyed it. I just starting by working in the Ice Cream Parlor every summer during the General Assembly. It gave me an opportunity to learn first hand how to assist guests and how to be hospitable. Since then, I have helped the YOP grow as an organization in the SICIA. I am now the current secretary of the Temple #1 YOP group and I edit and publish our newsletter. With the help and blessings from the great and all might God of Israel, I am learning great things everyday. I am a part of this group because I want to be. We do so many things ranging from workshops, trips, community service, and parties for the youth. Our activities are spiritual, educational, and most of all, fun. "I feel that it is a true blessing to work with such a group of people and would not have it any other way." -- Eugenia |
