Workshop Wrap-Up: Coming Soon! |

Workshop Description: The way one sees oneself. When you look in the mirror, whom do you see? Do you like who you see or do you wish you were someone else? There are steps that can be taken to help improve self-concept. Improving self-concept has to be a conscious behavior. Recognize your strengths and weaknesses and accept them as being part of you. Work on those weaknesses that have potential for change. Emphasize your strengths. If you concentrate on what you do well, you build self-confidence. Over time, build on what you can do successfully. Since it's sometimes easier to dwell on the negative aspects of our lives, focus on what you say. What messages do you send to yourself? If the message is negative, restate it so that it is positive! --submitted by Rev. Joseph Lathan |
