1. With Netscape closed, click 'Start', 'Find', 'Files or folders'
2. Type in prefs.js in the 'Named' Field
3. Make sure that the 'Look in' field is set to "C:/" (or hard disk)
4. Click 'Find Now'
5. You should be presented with a list of items one of which will be
prefs.js and the other will be liprefs.js, ignore everything else.
6. Click on prefs.js one time and then click 'File' at the top of the
screen and select 'Rename'
7. Hold down the 'ctrl' key on your keyboard and then click the arrow
button that points to the left.
8. Type old and it will appear now as 'oldprefs.js' if this is correct,
hit the 'enter' key on your keyboard
9. Exit the file finder.
10. Restart Netscape
11. If everything was done correctly it will now ask you to create
a new profile.
12. Enter your name and email address and click 'next'
13. When it asks for a profile name, enter the profile name you
wrote down before beginning this procedure.
14. When you click next it MAY tell you that that profile name
already exists. Yes, you want to use that one and the information
that it contains.
15. You should now be done.
