Driver of truck & trailer could not go thru tunnel on RT616. No cell service. Contacted SPCG base who contacted SRP. Officer arrived 12:05PM and backed truck and trailer 100 yards to get it turned around. Unit 56 helped officer with traffic control while backing. |

Came across two vehicles, one ran out of gas and now had a dead battery from cranking. Jumped from the trunk mounted battery in vehicle one, all OK. |

While exiting I83 @ exit 4, observed 2 vehicles westbound on PA851 at I83 traffic light west of I83. Called 911 and reported no injuries. Assumed Command at 18:41. Setup triangles behind 2nd vehicle to protect point of impact and debris. Controlled traffic as needed. Briefed Trooper on arrival and was demobilized by Trooper.

While monitoring, RX'd call on 146.700 for help with non-injury rear end collision. Stayed with operator until PSP arrived and cleared.

While monitoring, a trucker called for police. A white commercial pickup with a cap was speeding up I83. The trucker observred the pickup swerving and nearly striking another vehicle and almost going off the road at one point. Last seen north of exit 4.

While waiting in his car outside of Rite Aid, Unit 39 observerd a white male stagger to a vehicle. This man tried to use a house key to open his car door even though the window was completely down. Once in the car the man started the vehicle and raced the engine but was upset when the car wouldn't move. Unit 39 called 911 and reported the vehcile description and license tag. He continued his observation. Upon arrival SRP ran a field sobriety test and took the driver into custody. Unit 39 reports the driver could not standup and was mouthy to towards the officer while being taken into custody.

Arrived with PennDOT. A car had crashed into the center barrier. Began CB19 announcement of left lane closed. Put on ANSI safety jacket. Deployed Turbo Flares for 50ft behind REACT56. Demobilized by PSP. |

Flipped at exit to assist 2 males out of car on southbound side. Used jack, lug wrench and tire inflater to help with changing a blown out tire. Parked in blocking posture. Deployed triangles and Turbo Flares for safety.
