My Bonsai Garden is 18 x 8 feet, but I am having to build an extension to it this autumn as I have run out of bench space. I think now think the best way to see how big to build display areas is to decide what the maximum size you will need, double it and make sure you have room to build an extension in a couple of years. It was designed as an enclosed area to make winter protection a little easier. The open side can be covered in plastic sheeting and the roof covered in clear corrugated PVC or shade netting to keep out the worst of the weather. |
