The Colonial Branch of the CGEA is located at U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown, VA. TRACEN Yorktown is the largest Coast Guard Training Center. Some of the most dedicated people in the Coast Guard come here to train our future generations of Coasties, or support those who do.

What is the Coast Guard Enlisted Association?

The CGEA is a service organization conceived of and administered by the U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer's Association (CPOA), formally approved by the CPOA Board of Directors on August 16th, 1991. It is a part of the CPOA, and as such, is qualified as a "Not for Profit" organization as specified in Section 501(c)(19) of the IRS code. It is not a part of the U.S. Coast Guard or any government agency.
