Helmet Mount Instructions

DISCLAIMER: The instructions below are such that it is a DO IT YOURSELF project. As such, there is no claim your results will be similar to mine. When undertaking projects that involve electricity (be it AC or DC), please be advised, there is a definite risk of fire Hazard if construction is not done properly. Please follow instructions on the parts/components that you do buy, and test your device accordingly. Seek competent help and advice where appropriate.  Also,  mounting a light on your helmet, over the vent as instructed here will hamper your helmet's performance in a crash situation.  We will not be held responsible for any injuries as a result.


Materials:

-1 yard of 1 1/2 inch nylon webbing - $2.00 --       Sewing store

-3 yards 1 inch nylon webbing  $0.99 --   Sewing store
-2 metal "D" rings $0.99 -- Sewing store.
-Foam / rubber-bottomed mouse pad $0.50 --     Office Place
-1 1/2" wide velcro tape (fuzzy and prickly stuff) approximately 1 yard of each. -- $0.99
-Piece of tin (4"x4"), I got mine from a piece of heating duct -- $dun.no
-Malibu Low Voltage Outdoor Landscape Light (with stake and "C" clip removed) -- $15.00 
Tools: 

-Drill -- with correct bits (1/8" and 3/4"-1 1/2")

-Star screwdriver
-Marker
-Tin Snips
-Pins or safety pins (3-4)
-Scissors
-Lighter (not pictured)
