Here's your request for info about our Bicol activity This can only help you a little. I suggest that you get in touch with the mountaineering organization based in Bicol. When we went there we were assisted by the Pilipinas Sierra Asog Chapter (Nakabuhi). You can contact them through Sir Angelo (angelo@mozcom.com). They took care of most everything when we got there. We just gave them our plans, itineraries and the number of participants.

Our budget for this activity were P1500.00 each (i.e. transportation, foods, fluids, pocket money, etc.) - depending on the needs of your group it could get higher or lower. A permit is also required from your group to climb Isarog. You could get that at the town office of CENRO. Water requirement for Isarog is 4-6 liters and Asog 2-3 liters.

Editor's note: More information can be obtained from the Tourism Authority in Legaspi City, or the municipal hall in Naga or Pili. Pili is the jump-off. Other nearby attractions include Nabontalan Falls, Malabsay Falls, and Lake Buhi.
