CAMP STAFF OPPORTUNITIES

It is doubtful any summer job provides the wide range of management skills and personal growth experiences that will match Boy Scout Summer Camp Staff. While other young people are flipping hamburgers or filling grocery sacks, summer camp staff members are planning major activities, dealing with campers, leaders and each other, and learning to handle a long day filled with both fun and frustration. Summer camp staff members also have the additional joy of helping a young Scout learn and grow in his skill and ability.

Older scouts, of outstanding character, with high energy levels, are encouraged to apply to serve as a Counselor In Training or as a member of the CAMP STAFF.

It is a point of pride for many troops to be represented on the camp staff.

COUNSELORS IN TRAINING (CIT'S) MUST BE 14 YEARS OLD BY THE TIME THEY REPORT TO CAMP.

CAMP STAFF MUST BE 15 YEARS OLD BY THE TIME THEY REPORT TO CAMP.

All Scout Leaders can help improve the quality of the Castle Rock experience by encouraging interested Scouts and Adults to apply for staff positions.

Click here for a copy of the Camp staff application form. It is close to the actual form, but it serves the same function.
