It's almost Hockey Season!!
The Chicago Blackhawks will go all the way!!
The road to the Stanley Cup will be paved with Bob Probert's....... Victims
Well if you look around this page alittle, you will figure out that I am a huge BLACKHAWKS fan. If you follow the hawks you have to be a fan of Big Bob Probert.
I'm not going to bore you with stats about when he was born, or stuff like that. What I will bore you with however is with proving how great of a player that he is, and will continue to be. Bob was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the third round (46th overall) of the 1983 NHL draft. Mr. Probert made his NHL debut during the 1985-1986 season. There he played in 44 of Detroits 82 games, quckly becoming a fan favorite with his fiesty, aggresive style of play. By the 1987-1988 season Mr. Probert had established himself as a tough player that stuck-up for his teammates and never backed down from a brawl. He also became an All-star that year, his only all-star selection to this date. After some run-ins with the law that kept him away for most of the 1989-1990 season Bob came back with a strong 1990-91 campaign where he re-established himself as one of the best men in front of the net. Bob again had another year taken away from him, the entire 1994-95 season, for some substance abuse problems. Mr. Probert has now come back with a new team and a new purpose in the league, to prove that he is still one of the best end-to-end players in the league. Now with this season coming up, Bob will be back to his old tricks, crashing, banging, and scoring, and being a feared player around the league. Now the NHL must watch out for its worst nightmare, a determined Bob Probert!
Bob has now finished his second season with the Black Hawks. He had an excellent year while being shifted to a new line almost every night. Now the REAL great one will look to lead his team into the future.
