release button; be sure chamber is empty
Hold pistol in the right
hand; with left forefinger press dismounting latch release button and with
left thumb rotate dismounting latch clockwise until it stops
Pull forward the slide barrel
group with locking block, recoil spring and spring guide
Slightly press recoil spring
and spring guide (spring and spring guide are under tension: pay attention)
Lift spring guide and recoil
spring, letting the later stretch slowly
Press locking block plunger
Take out the barrel locking
group from slide
No further disassembly is recommended unless done by a gunsmith.
Assemble in reverse order. When rotating dismounting latch make sure that slide is in its normal position (align with rear slide of frame).
