ABOUT ME!

Meet the Smith's

Yes, my name is Smith, Dave Smith! My great-grandmother came from Shakespearean England so that makes me a true Smith! I currently work as a manufacturing engineer at L3 Security & Detection Systems. I have been a New Englander all my life.

This is me with my wife, Judy, and our two sons, Scott and Marc. We were married at St. John's Church in Peabody, MA on November 11, 1979. Judy is a diet technician at Winchester Hospital (so I eat very well!).

My favorite interests pastimes usually have something to do with the outdoors. I have cycled in 100+F weather, camped outside when it was so cold you could hear the sap expand and crack trees all nite, dove the cold waters of Cape Ann, and hiked to the top of Cadallac Mountain in Acadia. It's a great world and I want to see as much as I can!

Marc and Scott

Marc enjoys the outdoors, too. We have been kayaking, hiking, and cycling. He wants to persue a legal career.

Scott is more of a bookworm but will, but his real passion in life seems to be movies. He enjoys keeping up with the latest advances in movie animation & production; especially Disney productions. He is presently attending computer school and working at a local movie theater complex.

I couldn't have been blessed with two finer young men. Seeing how they have grown over the years and being their dad and friend, it makes me feel that I didn't do too bad of a job.

Gizmo Zak

We have two cats; Gizmo (on the left) and Zak. They are brothers. Zak is very agressive and inquisitive but Gizmo tends to be more shy. He waits to see what Zak will do before moving in.

We took home these two guys from the Animal Rescue League of Boston

Charlie

This is our dog, Charlie. Charlie is a female shepard-lab (HEAVY on the lab). She loves to put things in her mouth- ANYTHING! She is very playful. Her favorite toy is an old sock. She loves going for walks and playing tug-of-war with her sock. But the best thing she likes to do is go to bed! Speak those words and she is off and running to her crate! Charlie came to us through the Northeast Animal Shelter.

Zak, Gizmo, and Charlie get along as if they came from the same litter. Charlie has a motherly instinct and treats Zak and Giz as if they were her own.
