I always try to follow all Leave No Trace guidelines when in the wilderness. These guidelines will insure that there will be wilderness left long after we are gone, if the simple procedures are incorporated into all of our backcountry excursions. Lets also teach these principles to our friends and family members who are not aware of how even the most simple act of negligence could cause damage to the wilderness. Leave No Trace, Inc.,is a non-profit educational corporation authorized by the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to promote the Leave No Trace educational message.
