These were both taken in Panama. The first one is during a break while on a patrol around Ft Clayton,Panama.
The second was from an 81mm mortar live fire.

These are the two types of mortars that I fired.
The 81mm while I was in Panama and the 60mm while I was with the 101st in Saudi.

Diggin'a hole,diggin'a hole....
While in Saudi, we were told to dig "fighting positions". They sure looked more like graves to me!!
