Markham Park is probably the second best place to ride in South Florida next to Oleta River State Park.  This nearly 700 acre park is used for camping, hiking, swimming, boating, and cycling.  Markham's trails have less flow than other area trails such as Amelia Earhart in North Miami and can be quite challenging in certain places.  Markham park is a good destination to hone skills and to challenge the best cyclists.  This park is well known by hardcore cyclists and the trails will challenge everyone.  The trails may have less flow", but the tradeoff is that they can be highly technical.  You will find steep climbs, drops, and steep off camber switchbacks.  Ridges and roots will taunt your full suspension bike like no other trail in south Florida.  Enjoy.
