My Swiss Open 2000 Page
The 17th Swiss Open 2000 took place in Basel close to the Rhine at 3rd and 4th of june 2000 in Saalbau Rhypark.
The weather was too nice to play darts. 32° C Inside the hall makes the darts almost melting and the players drinking!

Aletta played in the singles the first round the World number one Trina Gulliver(eng). 0-2,1-2 was the score and Aletta was out.
I played the first round a player from belgium, we both played bad but I hit the doubles 1-2,2-1,2-1.
The second match I played Dave Askew (eng), ehh 0-2,0-2 and I had time to make pictures again.

The Swiss Open gets more important for the worldtop dartplayers because they get ranking points for the WDF and the PDC , the two world darts organisations.
Besides the Swiss Open there is normal darts, The 
Swiss Darts association is "The Darts" organisation
for whole switzerland. 
Is one of the top clubs of Switzerland with three teams in the local legue and two teams in the national legue.
