West Coast Trail page 3:

The day we left the cave the storm ended. In some places the trail had become part mud bog and part lake.

This is the beach between the Carmanah and Walbran. It felt good to finally be hiking in the sun.

This is one of the neatest caves along the trail. There are plenty to be found, but pay close attention to the tide charts and the time if you spend any time exploring them.

One of the many surge channels you'll run into if you travel along the beach. Use EXTREEM caution when crossing them. We spent 7 days on the trail and during that time atleast 2 people fell in one and had to be rescued by other hikers.
