Welcome to my fishing page. I hope that you enjoy the photo's. Always remember a bad days fishing (even in the rain sleet or snow) is ALWAYS better then a good days work.  I don't know who said it, but he was sure right.  More pictures will be added as I get them developed.

I will be on a 2 week hunting and fishing trip in northern BC from Sept 8 to Sept 19 so look for new photo's sometime in Oct.

My fishing is almost exclusivly in the central interior of British Columbia. I prefer river fishing and my prefered method is casting. There is a bait ban as well a barbed hook ban on most rivers in this area making it all the more sporting. On rivers my favorite lures are: any Wedding band, Mepps Black Fury and Rooster tails. I have also used some Krocks and Blue max vibrex series but with limited success. When trolling I also use the wedding bands and black Fury, but find the Apex trout killers the best.

This is an 8 pound rainbow caught on Dragon lake South of Quesnel B.C. on 04 Nov 1998. I caught it using an Apex fire tiger trout killer and 6 pound test. This fish was released.. He was a little over 18 inches and really fat.

These next two fish were on the plus side of 5 and 6 pounds respectivly. This one was caught on a mepps, and the other was also caught on a fire tiger. Both were released. There is an un-written catch and release rule on Dragon lake that is followed my most anglers.

Because we were releasing these fish we didn't want to actually weigh them, so the weights are based on length and girth and calculated from experience.
