Don't Panic!!

"There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.......There is another theory that states that this has already happened."

Lintilla's advice: How People Can Learn From Dogs:

Just arrived from Rochester!!Not yet a leader dog, Lintilla is part of the puppy raising program with Leader Dogs For The Blind. Lintilla at 2 1/2 mos. of age.She stays for one year with her sponsor family, and then goes to be trained in Rochester, Michigan. After many months of training, she will be matched with a blind person. They will then train together until she goes home with her new master.

She may look like a million others, but she is one of a kind. Not every dog has the temperament to become a leader dog. Besides just being obedient, loyal, and friendly, a leader dog trainee has to be eager to learn, yet steady and calm. Being a puppy raiser isn't for everyone either. You have to take the pup into your family, nurture and love it for a year, and then send it away to another home--ouch!

A year goes fast! When the birthday card comes...she's on her way!!

Lintilla at 6 mos.--must have been the puppy chow!
