4H Shooting Sports Program at Bailey Mountain
Bailey Mountain Fish & Game Club, Inc. has a number of 4H Shooting Sports Program Certified Instructors. Bailey Mountain conducts 4H Shooting Sports Courses. Currently we offer a course in 22 Rifle and a course in Muzzle-loading Rifle. There are future plans to possibly add a 4H Shooting Sports course in Air Rifle and in Archery.
The 4H Shooting Sports Cources are coordinated through the Rensselaer County Cooperative Extension Office in Troy NY. The courses are advertised in the 4H Clover Chronicles and supplementary advertising in the Sand Lake Advertiser and Time Warner Community Access Channel. Course signups are done through the Rensselaer County Cooperative Extension Office.
Course participants must be 4H members, but can join at the time of the signup for the course. The 4H Shooting Sports Program promotes safe wholesome shooting recreation for the family. The parent or guardian is requested to participate in the course with the 4H participant.
