This tour takes out into the Kanangra-Boyed National Park This is the first canyon we've done out this way but we've been told that unlike the narrow slot canyons of the Blue Mountains and Wollemi these "Canyons" are more a series of waterfalls cascading down deep valleys. So eager to try something a little different we pack up the gear and head for
Dione Dell

Even the drive out is spectacular as we drive down into the steep pass into the Jenolan Valley, past the green lake, through the Grand Arch at Jenolan Caves then back up to the ridge and out towards Kanangra walls.
Just before the road ends we leave the car and head out on foot along a well hidden track that leads us down into Dione Dell. The walk down the creek is pleasant with it's many cascades but the gentle creek does nothing to prepare you for whats to come.
