as we amble on down the creek, taking a brief detour into a side canyon on the
way.
But after a while the creek begins to drop steeply into the valley.
The Wolgan river
is not far away but to reach it we must first find our way down the maze
of
boulders that litter the way down the steep creek. A task made all the
more
difficult in our exhausted state but with care and good luck we find our
way down
without incident and begin the two hour trek up stream, through the ruins
and back to the car.
