| The trip down Tiger Snake canyon starts near the glowworm
tunnels north of Lithgow. It is a fair walk in along a narrow ridge that
offers grand veiws into the gorges on either side. It is all to easy to
fall into the habit of consentrating only on where to put your feet but
every now and then someone will look up and just go "Wow look at that"
From near the end of the ridge a steep track cuts down the hill side to the small creek and it is only a short walk down streem until we find the narrow slot the creek has carved into the sandstone. Quickly gearing up we abseil in. |
