July 20

We had to wake up really early to be at Bruces. We left his house at 7:45 to Drumheller. Mostly everyone slept in our van but I don't know about the other van. After about, I don't know how many hours, we eventually arrived at some hoodoos. We climbed around there for about 30 minutes. then left for the Royal Tyrell Museum. When we got there at 10:30 Jason, Geoff, and I
went to the counter to sign in for the dig watch we booked, only to find out that it was at 10:00 we missed it. So they gave us a tour guide who quickly gave us an improved tour. We hiked up a valley and she told us why the valley was shaped the way it is and why fossils are found here in such large quantities. When we got to the dig site there was about ten people digging with little picks and hammers. After a short talk from the head person in charge we went back to the museum to eat lunch. After lunch we all spilt up to go see the displays in the museums. We all walked around for about 4 hours. I don't know what everyone else did but one thing I did was me and Nathens played this dinosaur game for about a half-hour. Then we went outside and got into a water fight. Steven and Anni started the water fight. Everyone got completely soaked. Then we left for home but first we stopped to get a slurpee. The ride home was really boring because everyone was asleep.
