Katy-Did
Welsh/Quarter Horse mare
Katy is competing in Pony Club Combined Training Rally at Frying Pan Park , in Herndon, Va., during the stadium phase in this picture. She is a very athletic jumper as you can see in this image. She is an '88 Welsh/Quarter Horse. She has a shiney chestnut coat and a flaxen mane and tail. Katy has competed well in the tough world of eventing. She managed to go from the D-3 level in Pony Club to just missing the C-2 level. She has shown locally in hunters, placed in several combined tests, and beagled with the Middleburg Hunt of Middleburg, VA. Her favorite thing to do is jump. Jumpers was on her show schedule last year, where she did very well. Her largest ever jump was made while playing around with my friend and I, she jumped 4 ft !! She has now retired to a life of mainly trail riding, as I finally out-grew ponies! I couldn't bear to sell her so I gave her to my mom as a trade for a horse (Star, a Hanoverian/T.B. mare). Katy is still enjoying an occasional show but enjoys her pasture time very much.
