TF-2 Alkaline Sodium Thiosulfate Fixer

"TF-2 is for users who are determined to use sodium thiosulfate rather than ammonium...and would like a formula superior to the traditional acid hypo fixers."

Distilled water, 750ml
Sodium thiosulfate, 250g
Sodium sulfite, anhydrous, 15g
Sodium metaborate (aka Kodalk, Kodak Balanced Alkali), 10g
Distilled water to make 1000ml

Fixing instructions: 3x the time required to clear, which is film-dependent.
Note this is longer than the usual 2x for acid fixers.

Wash two minutes in running water, and no clearing agent is needed.

Processing Fuji Super HRII microfilm for pictorial applications

Al Doyle's "Mixer" formula, a Technidol
workalike (expose the film at ISO 50)

For processing in a Minox tank:
To 75 ml of water, add 17 drops of Kodak
HC-110 stock solution, and 15 drops of Agfa
           Rodinal concentrate.

For standard steel tanks:
To 200 ml of water, add 19 drops of HC-10
stock solution, and 17 drops of Rodinal
           concentrate.

Use HC-110 diluted to stock solution, not
           straight concentrate.

Agitate one turn every 30 seconds for 19
minutes at 68 degrees F, or down to 11
           minutes at 84 degrees F.

           Fix and wash normally.
