Introduction
I know thereīs nothing better than climbing in the outdoors but sometimes you canīt do so; maybe because the weather is not appropriate, or because you donīt have a car in your house (That's what happens to me every time). That's the reason for making climbing walls in indoors, climbing gyms. They are great because you work out a lot and you can go there anytime you want.
I put this page up because I wanted to build a home wall in my backyard since last year, and I spent a lot of time trying to find out how to make the wall, especially the holds. I searched in the Internet but I didnīt find much. After a while some guys built a climbing gym here in my city (it's not too big, but it's cool) and that's where I got an idea of how the walls and the hods were made. Then, with some friends, I started to investigate which materials were used to make the holds and the texture of the walls. Finally, I found out that they were made with polyester resin and some other materials. Before that, I had started trying to make my own, and after many attempts at trying to get better at it, I found out a lot of things: how to make the holds stronger, how to give the wall a better texture, etc.
Here, you can find the information necessary for building a climbing wall and making the holds. It is not too expensive to make a home wall, and if you really want to do it, trying won't hurt. So, if youīre interested in building a climbing wall or making holds, look at the information in these pages.
